We’ve done it! We are now expanding! Since October the holiday lets company has managed to exceed our first goal of having 100 people on the website and is looking at new ventures. The next part of our journey takes us to Devon where there are over 1000 holiday homes that we could offer our exclusive service to. Self catering holiday homes, B&B’s, Caravans and Cottage holiday homes are the key focus for our business.

Devon, which is home to two National Parks, Dartmoor and Exmoor has over 16 Holiday Resorts that just house Self catering holiday homes such as holiday chalets, caravans and tent pitches attract thousands of tourists every single year. This doesn’t include the privately owned self catering holiday homes, cottage holidays homes and B&B’s in the area! Tourism is one of Devon’s leading industries. Devon counties strong heritage and natural environment provides variety for a wide range of people.

Statistics have shown that over the last 5 years, there has been a gradual decrease in the amount of people going for all inclusive holiday packages. Instead there was an increase in the amount of families and couples going on the “Do it yourself” holiday. Especially in the present economic climate the U.K is in, money is tight and every penny should count. Cornish Holidays – Is It The Little Things That Make A Difference?

Every holiday is different. Whether you and your partner are going away for a luxurious weekend together or if you are a family heading for a Cornish holiday of fun filled adventures; there is nothing better, and it is always welcoming and friendly after the usual 6 hour drive down where the kids have been moaning all the way down and you have gotten lost god knows how many times, to arrive to a little something extra at your Cornish holiday destination. It is generally expected, and classed as standard with most self-catering holiday homes, that certain utilities are available and set up ready for your arrival.

Years ago a working television was classed as an added extra in any self-catering holiday home; now it almost expected that having a flat screen LCD television with free view is to be included as standard. But with the growing pace in technology that sort of adjustment has to be adhered to. I am talking about the little things. The little added extras; the stuff that will make your Cornish holiday that bit more special. What would be better when you arrive in a new area of the world, like when taking that first Cornish Holiday, than having a little book full of instructions and information about the local area and attractions? Maybe to find that whilst you were out for the day exploring, that someone special had come in and remade all the beds and tidied up a bit for you. Cornish Holiday – St Michael’s Mount

Should we go to the “Eden Project” whilst on our Cornish Holiday?

The Eden Project is a key day out for any Cornish Holiday. It brings in thousands of people every summer and still receives hundreds of visitors through the colder. Its newer attraction for colder times of year is the busy Skating ice rink it has during the Christmas period. Its really important that you are going on a Cornish holiday that you make the most of it and visit the Eden Project.

The Eden Project opened to the public in 2000. It’s a charity as well as a massive garden park and is home to the biggest green houses in the world.
